So ya wanna have your bike or story featured in Outcast Cycles Magazine? Here is what you need to know:

In order to be published, photos need to be clear, in focus, well lit, and high resolution images in JPG format. Images should include close-up and detail pictures of special changes or unique parts. Several overall pictures of the subject matter (with an uncluttered, neutral or contrasting background) taken from different angles and heights. Models are allowed, but must be over 18 years of age, include their information and authorization, and not contain nudity or visual displays such as gang signs or weapons.

Stories accompanying pictures are always a plus. Just feeding us info on what parts you used and what you did, doesn't help make a feature story. If you can write what you did to change your bike; build your bike; or find your bike - that makes it a story. The more details the better. A good rule of thumb is to write the story like you were talking to us directly. Use plain terms; regular speech. We can fix editing and spelling on our end - just focus on the story.

It will not be the responsibility of Outcast Cycles Magazine to follow up or verify correct information. All articles and information should be submitted in Word format as attachments to emails to:

Each and every submission to Outcast Cycles Magazine becomes the property of the magazine and may be edited for clarity, space, and content. Authors will be given credit for any and all articles and photos used by the magazine. No materials will be returned unless prior arrangements have been approved by Outcast Cycles Magazine’s editor.

"If you are intending to write an article solely for Outcast Cycles Magazine and intend to present yourself as an "outcast reporter", it is MANDATORY that we be informed of the story beforehand. This prevents us from having legal issues about representation in the magazine, promises about circulation numbers, and advertising concerns. I appreciate any and all submissions, and give full credits to the authors and photographers, but anyone falsely representing themselves as employees of Outcast Cycles Magazine will be discredited and if possible, publicly humiliated."  - Amish
